 A log of elm from Ian's garden in Ireland was used for this piece.

As well as guiding you, step by step, through the process of this carving, Ian demonstrates how to maximise the wood available - from a round log to this beautiful, completely symetrical figure.  The method shown on this DVD enables you to make a large impressive piece from a log of wood that would normally be burnt in half an hour!
